Welcome to Shenandoah Shines! By scheduling or receiving our detailing services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Appointments
Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time.
2. Vehicle Access
Customers are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the vehicle. If we are unable to access the vehicle at the scheduled appointment time, the appointment may be canceled or rescheduled, and a cancellation fee may apply.
3. Payment
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept approved payment methods communicated at the time of booking.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled without penalty when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided.
Late cancellations, missed appointments, or customers who are unavailable at the scheduled time may be charged a cancellation fee or forfeit any booking deposit.
5. Service Limitations
Detailing significantly improves the appearance of your vehicle but cannot repair permanent damage. Shenandoah Shines is not responsible for or able to correct:
● Paint scratches, chips, or rock damage
● Deep stains or permanent discoloration
● Torn, cracked, or excessively worn upholstery
● Faded or damaged trim
● Rust or corrosion
● Existing mechanical or electrical issues
● Odors that cannot be completely removed
6. Personal Belongings
Please remove all personal belongings, valuables, firearms, cash, important documents, medications, and other sensitive items before your appointment.
Shenandoah Shines is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
7. Vehicle Condition
Customers agree to inform us of any known issues that could affect the detailing process, including:
● Loose or damaged trim
● Malfunctioning windows, locks, or electronics
● Fresh paint or body repairs
● Mechanical leaks
● Aftermarket modifications
We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if a vehicle presents unsafe or hazardous working conditions.
8. Biohazard Materials
Vehicles containing excessive mold, bodily fluids, blood, human or animal waste, needles, hazardous chemicals, or other biohazards may be refused or subject to additional cleaning charges.
9. Weather
As a mobile detailing business, services may be delayed or rescheduled due to severe weather, unsafe temperatures, lightning, or other conditions beyond our control.
10. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your service, please notify Shenandoah Shines within 24 hours of your appointment.
We will inspect the concern and, when appropriate, re-clean the affected area at no additional charge. Refunds are issued only at our sole discretion.
11. Damage Claims
Any claim of damage believed to have occurred during service must be reported within 24 hours of the appointment.
Shenandoah Shines is not responsible for:
● Pre-existing damage
● Damage caused by age, wear, neglect, or defective materials
● Components that fail during normal cleaning due to existing deterioration
● Loose trim, badges, emblems, or accessories that were already compromised
12. Photos
Shenandoah Shines may take before-and-after photographs of vehicles for quality control and marketing purposes.
License plates and personal information will be avoided or obscured whenever reasonably possible. If you prefer that your vehicle not be photographed, please let us know before your appointment.
13. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for any reason, including unsafe conditions, abusive behavior, illegal activity, or circumstances that could damage our equipment or endanger our staff.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shenandoah Shines shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific detailing service provided.
15. Changes to These Terms
Shenandoah Shines reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions become effective when posted on our website.
